In age of what feels like never ending farewell and comeback tours, some of which happen within 5 years of each other in Slayer’s case, it’s nice to see a band be upfront and honest about the bands future. Stray From The Path, does just that when it comes to announcing their future plans, penning an extensive Instagram post with album details, tour details and their farewell address as well.
Front-man Tom Williams had this to say about the album coming out as a surprise.
“When you roll albums out now, there just isn’t that excitement because you already know that it’s coming. That’s why we wanted to do something different. It felt like there had to be a new and fun way to release records, and this felt like it…”
Stray From The Path are truly one of a kind and the world of heavy music will for sure miss the unabashed honesty and f-you attitude the band exemplified.
