If you were lucky enough to see the Trivium/Bullet For My Valentine co-headlining show at Epic back in April consider yourself lucky because after this weekend the tour is done. In a live stream bassist Paulo Gregoletto says the blame is on Matt Tuck of BFMV as transcribed by Metalsucks.
“Matt Tuck didn’t want to do it, after we had planned it, after stuff was already in the works — don’t know why. I think it would have been amazing. I think The Poison is a great album.”
This was a few days ago and now finally BFMV has responded with this Instagram post.
Can’t blame a band for wanting to move forward but it does seem like a bit of a slap to the Trivium, August Burns Red and Bleed From Within camp who had this tour planned and expected for the rest of the year.
As we bring The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour to an end, with just 4 SHOWS LEFT, make sure you don’t miss your chance to come out and celebrate this 20 year anniversary with us! 🤘🏼 pic.twitter.com/gSJhfptgAp
