KIMBERLY, Wis–Police are involved in a standoff in Kimberly. Officers were called to the area of Kimberly Avenue around 10:00 this (Friday) morning on the report of a disturbance with a weapon.
One person was taken from the scene for medical treatment. Another person remains inside the building.
Several surrounding streets are closed off–and nearby schools have been placed under lockdown as a precaution. People are encouraged to stay away from the area.
