Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson took to Instagram a few hours ago to share an update from the hospital after experiencing burns due to, as he describes, “an explosion in my face.”
In the nearly 5-minute long video, he says “I’m okay – I’m gonna be okay But I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms.”
He continues to bring the camera close to him to show that his eyebrows are singed, and his face, neck, and arms show burns. During the video, Sid says that they’re doing X-Rays on his chest to make sure that he didn’t inhale any flames.
No word on exactly what happened but he promises that he’ll be on tour with Slipknot when their North American Tour starts back up on September 1st.
“I don’t care what it takes, I will see you on tour.”
