Seether sat down with Terrie Carr and Mike Anthony at WDHA’s Rock The Rock Fest 2024, where frontman Shaun Morgan confirmed that new music from the band is on the way as early as July, and we can also look forward to a new album this fall. Check out the full interview below.
“Yeah, we’ve got plans to release a new album this year,” Morgan said as transcribed by Blabbermouth. ”I believe – without giving too many specifics, we’re looking, probably, [at releasing the] first single somewhere in July and then an album in September. So, yeah, pretty soon.”
This will be the band’s first album since Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum, featuring three No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Mainstream rock chart, was released in August 2020.
Seether is currently on “The Tailgate Tour” with Staind, Saint Asonia, and Tim Montana, which just kicked off in Brandon, Mississippi on April 22. The closest they’ll come to us here in Wisconsin is Grand Rapid, Michigan for that one.
