During a week where we got new songs from Pearl Jam who made their Cutting Edge Countdown debut at number 17 with “Dark Matter,” we also got a new song from Linkin Park, but don’t count out Fame on Fire. Their new song is called “Nightmare (Devil)” and it’s the perfect follow-up to their first top 20 rock hit “Welcome to the Chaos.” Lead singer Bryon Kuznitz joins us to break down the new song, writing radio hits, speed dating record producers, and more.
As for the actual Countdown, we once again have a brand new number-one song it’s from Papa Roach. “Leave a Light On” is their fourth straight number-one rock song from their album Ego Trip.
