Metallica has been all about giving back with their All Within My Hands Foundation, they’ve done work with Feeding America and seem to have a hand in charity everywhere they go in recent memory. This year they brought the giving to colleges and high schools around the country, just one catch. The marching band needed to perform a Metallica song. They even offered up Metallica sheet music to the band programs who participated and now they widdled down the entries and have the final list, and you get to vote on them before the band themselves pick the winners next month. It’s called “For Whom the Band Tolls” and you can see the submissions at metallicamarchingband.com
