APPLETON, Wis–A Wisconsin roofing company faces fines of more than $132,000 for safety violations. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says workers for Brookens Construction were not properly harnessed while on a rooftop along Ridgeview Drive in Appleton back in May.
The roofers were also not wearing proper eye protection and were using a damaged ladder. Brookens Construction has two weeks to file a formal response.
