The word legend gets used way too often and a lot of times when it’s not deserved. Two of the bands that have new albums out this week truly deserve the word legend put in front of them. From the pop-punk Kings Blink-182 to maybe the longest-running rock band in history the Rolling Stones this week is crazy with new albums. On top of that Rival Sons put out a companion to their Darkfighter album, Chris Shiflett from the Foo Fighters has a new solo album, and the popular symphonic metal band Within Temptation has given us their latest offering.

Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday talked to Cutter on Cutter’s Rockcast about new Rival Sons music right before Darkfighter came out this summer.
Singer Sharon Den Adel of Within Temptation talked about doing full albums and controversial lyrics with Cutter earlier this year shortly after the first single from this album was released.
