The legendary hard rock / heavy metal voice of Corey Taylor has become one of the most recognizable ones and now for the 2nd week in a row the Slipknot frontman has the number-one song with his song “Beyond” from his second solo album CMF2. Elsewhere Wolfgang Van Halen’s latest from his band Mammoth WVH “I’m Alright” makes it’s countdown debut.
One of the major rock stories of 2023 has been the band Sleep Theory who had a song go completely viral earlier in the year, then toured with Shinedown after being handpicked by them, and now have a top 20 rock single in the song “Numb.” Band founder Cullen Moore joins the show this week to tell us about his band and of course play some tunes from their debut E.P. due out next Friday, September 29th.
