Say what you want about this most recent influx of country artists into the rock universe, but people are digging it. The line between country and rock has always been thinner than most hard rock fans would care to admit, but artists like Jelly Roll have literally taken an eraser to that line. The song “Need a Favor” is now his second straight number-one rock single.
Our only debut this week is from the Mongolian rock sensation The Hu coming in with a song featuring Serj Tankian from System of a Down on vocals.
Then outside of the top 21 in rock, we turn our attention to the band Stitched Up Heart who have announced their 3rd album To The Wolves due out later this year and are about to embark on a cross-country trek with Escape the Fate. This female-fronted band has everything it takes to make it to the next level and the band’s singer Mixi joins us to explain why. Plus of course, a couple of Siticed Up Heart jams for our earholes.
