GREEN BAY, Wis. — The attorney for a Green Bay woman accused of killing a dismembering a man formally withdraws from the case.
Defense attorney Quinn Jolly files a motion to withdraw as counsel for Taylor Schabusiness.
The motion comes three days after Schabusiness attacked Jolly during a competency hearing in Brown County Court. The attack came after the judge agreed to push back Schabusiness’ March 6 trial date at Jolly’s request.
Schabusiness is accused of choking Shad Thyrion to death during sex, cutting up his body and hiding parts around his mother’s home back in February of last year. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect to First Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilating a Corpse and Third Degree Sexual Assault.
