TOWN OF SEVASTOPOL, Wis. — A Florida man is killed in a crash in Door County.
Sheriff’s officials say the 78-year-old was northbound on Highway 42 in the town of Sevastopol when he crossed the centerline, hit the rear tires of a semi trailer and struck an SUV around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. The man died at the scene.
The 60-year-old man driving the SUV and 53-year-old woman riding along were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The condition of the semi driver was not released.
