I think we’ve all had enough of the soft ‘radio rock’ version of A Day To Remember, right? If that is you, today is a day for rejoicing because ADTR is back, and with them came the breakdowns and growls that made the band famous from the get-go! The new song is called “Miracle” and is the first new music since the release of You’re Welcome in 2021. Maybe we’ll get lucky and ADTR will perform the new track when they take the Oshkosh Arena stage next month.
No word yet on when a new album will arrive but you can listen to the new single below.
Not to be left off the minds of music lovers across the globe, Muse released the newest adventure in sonic exploration with this one called “Kill Or Be Killed.” According to Matt Bellamy, this was their attempt to make the ‘heaviest Muse track ever’.
“‘Kill Or Be Killed’ is Muse at their heaviest! We wanted to update our hard rock sound on this album and with ‘Kill Or Be Killed’ we found a modern metal sound featuring double bass drum action and even a death growl. Lyrically the song takes influence from my favorite Paul McCartney song ‘Live And Let Die’, a dark take on how life’s adversity can sometimes bring out the worst human instincts to survival at any costs.”
Whether that seems like a pandering attempt at ‘hello fellow teenagers’ or as a musician trying to expand their breadth is up to you. The song is below!
Muse is set to release their new album The Will of the People on August 26th.
