In Flames have released a new song titled “State Of Slow Decay” as well as an accompanying music video. This new single comes just after the band recently re-signed with Nuclear Blast Records. Vocalist Anders Fridén spoke on the new track as well as the continued partnership with nuclear Blast Records.
“We have always done our own thing without any pressure from the outside world. But being back with Nuclear Blast worldwide has for sure inspired us to write a host of new material that includes the past, the present and the future. ‘State Of Slow Decay’ includes everything that In Flames are known for, but it’s more than just a song, it’s a fucking statement. I couldn’t be happier to release this as a taste of what’s to come.”
A new album from In Flames is set to be released later on this year. This will mark the first release since their 2019 record I, The Mask. Check out the music video for the “State Of Slow Decay” below!
In Flames hits the road later on this year with Fit For An Autopsy, Orbit Culture, and Vended as support. The tour will be coming through EPIC Event Center in Green Bay on September 20th. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 17th at 10AM.
