According to Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine, metal is alive and well.
The Metal Tour of the Year passed through the Resch Center in Green Bay this past Friday (4/22), after being rescheduled multiple times. On the bill were metal juggernauts Megadeth and Lamb Of God, with special guests Trivium and In Flames. Megadeth vocalist Dave Mustaine brought his offstage shenanigans to some very lucky kids in the crowd.
Prior to the show, Mustaine dressed in all black and worked his way into the stands at the Resch Center. He sat behind a group of kids in the lower bowl, and proceeded to silently slip them some guitar picks, undetected by the parents sitting right next to the kids. The kids looked at Mustaine as if he were Santa Claus himself, excitedly grasping onto their new gifts from the metal vocalist. Mustaine put his finger to his lips telling the kids to keep quiet, and then silently slipped away as quickly as he had arrived.
