There is nothing quite like hearing rock and orchestral music come together in a blaze of sonic glory. Apocalyptica have pioneered that very sound, and they are bringing it across the U.S. with some more headlining tour dates.
The band announced on Twitter that they have added a second leg to their Cell-0 tour, which began earlier this month with special guests Lacuna Coil. The new dates will stretch from September 6th, to October 7th covering many major-market U.S. cities. This leg of the tour will feature Norwegian prog rockers Leprous as well as the German doom group Wheel. Apocalyptica expressed their excitement on social media.
“Surprise! This tour has gone so well that we are coming back out to North America next September with our friends in Leprous and Wheel! Of course, singing for Apocalyptica will once more be our dear friend Franky Perez.”

The tour will be stopping through The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee on September 25th. Tickets for the Milwaukee show go on sale this Friday, April 29th at 10AM.
If you haven’t had the chance to listen to Apocalyptica, do yourself a favor and check them out. Formed in 1993, these Finnish musicians have been fusing classical instruments with rock elements and setting the tone for symphonic metal bands to come.
Check out their collaboration with Shinedown’s Brent Smith on the track “Not Strong Enough!”
