It’s time to cut the line!
Papa Roach has officially dropped the music video for their newest single “Cut The Line”. The track is the fifth single off the band’s upcoming album Ego Trip following “Swerve”, “Dying to Believe”, “Stand Up”, and the chart-topping “Kill The Noise”.
The video has quite the 90’s nostalgic feel to it. The band performs the track in a garage that has been decked out to look like a young up-and-coming musician’s cave. The combination of the setting plus the in-your-face camera angles and movements make for a perfect look back into the days of youthful rebellion.
Ego Trip is Papa Roach’s 11th studio album, and frontman Jacoby Shaddix wants to be very clear that the band is not done pushing the boundaries.
“Now isn’t the time for comfort or conformity, but to be inspired and build something new. Something better, in order to channel something more.”
Ego Trip will be available everywhere on April 8th, 2022. The group has yet to announce a full tracklist, having only released the title and the album artwork.
