It’s been a few years since Iron Maiden put out their mobile game Legacy of the Beast, and it’s been fairly successful. Here’s what the description is from the app store.
The Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast dungeon game allows you to tap into your legacy of darkness as you ascend your warriors into legends through each campaign, defeat giant bosses, banish epic monsters, vanquish vile demons, rebuild our heroes’ shattered souls, defeat an ancient evil, and save the universe!
But now the game has been updated with the help of a friend. Eddie, Iron Maiden’s mascot for a limited time will be joined by The Guy who is Disturbed’s mascot. Inspired by the Iron Maiden album Somewhere in Time and the Disturbed comic book Dark Messiah, “Disturbing Sciences” is a limited-time event within the game. Disturbed frontman David Draiman in a statement said:
“We feel that The Guy is a worthy addition to the saga and we’re very happy to be a part of it. When we first saw the first concept pieces of how he would be integrated into the game, it was thrilling for all of us. It’s still kind of surreal.”
You can download Legacy of the Beast on any Apple or Android device. While the game is free there are in-app purchases.
