Despite the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools in the state did not see a major turnover in principal and superintendent positions.
Wisconsin Policy Forum researcher Jason Stein says schools with high risk students in both urban and rural areas saw a higher lever of turnover.
He believes turnover could be positive if a better leader is hired. But he feels any turmoil to high risk students could impact learning.
