More new Papa Roach has arrived!
“Stand Up” is the fourth single to be released from the group since last summer. “Swerve,” Kill The Noise,” and “Dying to Believe” are all expected to be on Papa Roach’s upcoming new album which is set to be released later this year.
Frontman Jacoby Shaddix spoke on the lyrical inspiration behind the new single.
“’Stand Up’ is inspired by the social unrest of marginalized people throughout the world. It’s about feeling of wanting to give up when you’re backed against the wall. For the ones that have been oppressed for so long that a sense of hopelessness is all they have. ‘Stand Up’ is meant to inspire that whisper, that small voice inside that you are worth standing for. Step into empowerment and shake the world with your voice.”
Papa Roach is set to kickoff their 2022 “Kill The Noise” North American tour on March 1, with support from Bad Wolves and Hollywood Undead.
