After the release of the song “Shoulders”, we knew it had to only be a matter of time for a new album from Coheed and Cambria. When singer/guitarist/songwriter, Claudio Sanchez talked to Cutter in December he confirmed that there was in fact a new album coming in spring. He also told us that it would be a direct follow-up to Vaxis – Act 1: The Unheavenly Creatures. That has now become official as they took to social media to announce Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind. There will also be a limited edition box set that includes a graphic novel diving further into the story of Vaxis written by Claudio’s wife Chondra Echert and some other cool exclusive items.
