For all bands or musicians, the music that they write comes from some sort of personal place. With a band like Coheed and Cambria that remains true, those personal spaces are just set in a fantastical world. The phrase “comic book band” is one Claudio uses to say simply “we are more than just that comic book band,” and we couldn’t agree more.
With their new song “Shoulders” the story arch of their last album Unheavenly Creatures continues and according to Claudio, there is a new album coming this spring.
