Guitarist Nita Strauss has tapped Disturbed frontman David Draiman for a new song called “Dead Inside.” The track is the first single from Nita’s forthcoming album due out in the Spring of 2022.
Nita Strauss spoke of the collaboration with Draiman saying:
“This is my first time releasing my own music with a vocalist, and I am so honored to take this step alongside a legend like David Draiman. David’s voice and powerful lyrics took this song to a level I could never have imagined! And we are so excited to unleash this song on the world.”
David Draiman said of the track:
“We live in an age of over-stimulation. We’re barraged on a daily basis by sound bites of every kind. Driven into a media-driven frenzy, we’ve become hopeless outrage addicts, dead to the true travesties and injustices of the world that are right in front of our eyes. Nothing shocks us anymore. After all, how can you be shocked, when you can no longer trust?”
Nita Strauss will be out on the road for a solo tour this winter with a stop in Milwaukee at The Back Room on December 17th.
