Stone Temple Pilots are playing at Epic Event Center on October 22nd with Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown. Dean DeLeo took some time to sit with Decker and chat about his new side project Trip The Witch, how the last two years have affected him and the band and what he is looking forward to playing out on the road. The chat got a little emotional when Dean was asked about what songs mean the most to him.
“I remember the smell of the room when writing that song…(sic) the look on Scott’s face when Robert and I brought him a new song…”
He spoke on what working with new lead singer Jeff Gutt is like and the songs he fondly remembers writing with him and brother/bassist Robert DeLeo.
