Badflower has unleashed their sophomore album This Is How the World Ends and frontman Josh Katz took some time out of his day to chat with Cutter and Kaytie about the release.
Josh talked about the album being recorded very quickly and being self-produced. In fact, most of the album was done in one take.
“When we recorded this album everything was very quick. Like the album took a long time to write and to craft and to make but once it came down to actually pressing a record button and recording it, it was like pretty much one takes across the board. Especially with Anthony on the drums. He just crushed it once and we were like ‘yeah there’s no reason to go back and redo that. You’re done.'”
Badflower is currently out on tour with Teenage Wrist and Dead Poet Society. The tour will make a stop at The Rave II on October 3rd. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
