Appleton Police make an arrest in connection with a shooting incident last month. William Hayes is accused of firing a gun inside a home along the 900-block of West Lawrence Street back on July 17th. Hayes was taken into custody on Thursday. He will likely be charged with Reckless Endangerment, Attempted Armed Robbery, and Armed Burglary. Police believe the shooting was connected to a drug deal gone bad. No one was hurt.
