Rise Against has teamed up with Alt singer Meg Myers to do an acoustic version of their hit song “Nowhere Generation.” The title track to their latest album. Having her add vocals to the song definitely gives it a different feel.
Lead singer Tim Mcllrath says:
“When we released the acoustic version of ‘Nowhere Generation,’ we found that it really connected with a lot of people. We heard from a lot of unique and beautiful voices, and we knew that we needed to add another beautiful, unique voice to this song. Meg was the perfect choice and we are thrilled with how it all turned out.”
Meg Myers added:
“When Rise Against asked me to sing on ‘Nowhere Generation,’ I felt an instant connection to the song. There is a power and a purity about this song that is so healing and unifying.”
