Let’s just say this is a lot different (better) than their 2020 collab with Rick Springfield. If you were looking for a return to heavy for Coheed and Cambria then look no further than “Shoulders.” Their first new music in three years sees the band being more aggressive. The video for the song has a very cyberpunk-type theme going on, which is fitting. Singer/guitarist Claudio Sanchez says:
“In art, in your career, in relationships… no matter how much you give of yourself or try, you have to accept that not everything in life can be a perfect fit.”
Coheed & Cambria are set to play Riot Fest in Chicago on September 17th.
