A fire caused $10,000 in damage to a garage in Appleton.
Fire crews were called to a home in the 400 block of West Foster Street around 6:30 p.m. and found a detached garage on fire. The family wasn’t home and a neighbor noticed the fire and called 911. The fire was contained to the detached garage.
