Foo Fighters got their start in 1995 with their self-titled debut album. The band members to be inducted include Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Rami Jaffee, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear . Smear had been a member of punk band The Germs and previously worked with Grohl, appearing with Nirvana during their MTV Unplugged special in 1993.
The 2021 nominees were announced in February and included Rage Against the Machine and Iron Maiden (who finished 4th in fan voting). This year’s induction ceremony will happen in Cleveland on October 30th.
