Lawrence to require vaccination for students on campus

Lawrence University will require all students to be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19. Assistant to the President Christyn Abaray says a notice sent to students last week says the requirement will go into effect next month.  Abaray says the vaccination policy should allow for more normal classes in the fall. Lawrence faculty and staff are exempt from the policy–due to questions about legal liability for employees. Lawrence is the first college in the state to require student vaccination.
