Wisconsin sets a new record for people getting their second round of coronavirus vaccines in a single day. More than 12-thousand people got the second dose yesterday–an increase of 50-percent from the day before. A total of 659-thousand people have received at least the first dose–a record increase of nearly 46-thousand in a single day.
As for new cases of coronavirus, the state Department of Health Services says that number was 1,518 on Thursday. The positivity rate was 21-percent. Another 41-people died–bringing the statewide total to 5,992. Brown and Waushara counties each had one death.
Brown County added 64 new cases yesterday. Outagamie County had 66. Winnebago County was up by 35–while Calumet County added 25 new cases.
