It may not be at halftime like we all want it to be, but hey it is Metallica performing on the day of the Super Bowl, so it’s something, right? A Late Show: Super Bowl Edition will be taking place directly following the big game on CBS. CBS is also broadcasting the game. Host Stephen Colbert will welcome Robert Downy Jr. Tiffiny Haddish, and then the almighty Metallica will be performing.
The last time Metallica were on The Late Show was in 2017 when the performed the song “Now That We’re Dead” from the album Hardwired…to Self Destruct.
