The number of new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin increases slightly today. The state Department of Health Services reports 1,567 positive tests today–however, the seven day average still went down. The positivity rate was 23-percent. There were another 49-deaths–bringing the statewide total to 5,860. Two of those deaths were in Brown County. Waupaca County reported one.
Outagamie County had 69 new cases. Winnebago County was up by 58. Brown County added 53–while Calumet County had 19 new cases.
Almost 477,000 Wisconsin residents have now received their first shots of coronavirus vaccine–with more than 90,000 completing their second shot as well.
