Questions are being raised about why a 33-year old executive with the Milwaukee Bucks was given a coronavirus vaccine this week. Team Vice President Alex Lasry posted on Twitter that he received the shot on Monday because his wife’s uncle was working at a senior center and they had some doses left. Lasry’s wife is pregnant, and he tweets that was his motivating factor. Deputy Health Services Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk says incidents like this have been few and far between. Lasry is the son of Bucks co-owner Mark Lasry–and has been mentioned as a potential Democratic candidate for the U-S Senate in 2022.
