During the pandemic, with touring being cancelled, roadies are essentially out of work. Jason Rockman and Kevin Jardine of the band Slaves on Dope set up a charity called The Roadie Relief. The mission of the Roadie Relief is ‘to help as many roadies as we can without a secure livelihood.’
To raise awareness for the Roadie Relief, Rockman and Jardine enlisted the help of Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit), Bill Kelliher (Mastodon), P Nut (311), Bert McCracken (The Used), Richard Patrick (Filter), Louise Post (Veruca Salt), and Tanner Wayne (In Flames). That massive group of musicians covered the Jane’s Addiction classic song “Mountain Song.”
