Appleton fire officials say a house on the northside is a total loss after an early morning fire.
Two adults and six children were able to get out before crews arrived on scene. They’re being helped by neighbors and the Red Cross.
The house is in the 1400 block of West Summer Street and crews were called around 3 a.m.
They found heavy fire coming from the back of the home and officials believe the fire started in a back bedroom. No one was hurt.
