There is a mode in the video game Call of Duty: Warzone called Plunder. On December 4th at 3pm on Misfits Gaming Group’s Florida Mutineer’s Twitch Channel there will be a three hour tournament held for charity. The Call of Duty Charity Invitational will have 12 teams and one of them will be Trivium. The event is called Plunder in the Sky which celebrates the charity partnership that the world of gaming has with non-profit organizations. The broadcast will allow fans to have a unique never before seen experience and also use Warzone Correspondents to give players and fans live reports of the action. Ben Spoont, co-founder and CEO of Misfits Gaming Group said,
“We’re thrilled to have a hand in supporting a trailblazing charitable event of this scope. It not only parallels the heart of our brand, but represents the ever-evolving breadth of the esports world, It’s a tremendous honor to create a new space for some of the biggest streamers in the industry to directly support and give back to these charity organizations, all while doing what they do best.”
Trivum themselves are very active on Twitch and you check out Matt Heafy’s channel here.
