On December 1st Alice in Chains will receive the Founders Award from Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture. This is a big deal for one of Grunge’s original bands and one of the biggest rock bands in rock history. To celebrate there will be a ceremony and celebration held, but it will be virtual. This benefits us because we all get to see it happen.
Live performances of artists covering Alice In Chains music will include Metallica, Mastodon, Korn, Corey Taylor, And and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters, members of Soundgarden with Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Jane’s Addiction, and more. There will also be additional appearences from Iron Man himself Robert Downy Jr., Eddie Vedder, Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello and more.
This all takes place at 8pm on December 1st on Twitch, Facebook and the Amazon Music App.
