Foo Fighters performed their new song “Shame Shame” live for the first time on Saturday Night Live and then announced their new album Medicine at Midnight which is due out February 5th. A new album, a new song, and a new video.
More on the video as Dave and the video’s star Sofia Boutella did an Instagram live session all about it.
The album was done before the pandemic hit and Dave Grohl told Kerrang!
“You know, there was absolutely no desire to change anything. When we finished the album, it was exactly what we wanted it to be.”
He added that the recording process for these songs were different this time.
“They were all born from these demos that I had been doing where I had decided, ‘Okay, it’s our 10th record, we’ve been a band for 25 years, what do we do? Do we make some sleepy acoustic album as we ride off into the sunset of our career, or do we make a party record?”
Foo Fighters will also be taking part in a live stream concert Saturday November 14th live from The Roxy in Los Angeles.
