It’s no secret just how big of a fan Taylor Momsen is of Soundgarden, telling anyone who’s ever asked that they are one of her favorite bands of all time and Chris Cornell was one of her biggest influences. In fact she just told Offstage with DWP:
“I’ve based my whole career and identity off of The Beatles and Soundgarden. They’re two bands that I put next to each other, and I know that might sound crazy to some people. But they’re so important. There’s very few bands, I think, that needed to exist, and Soundgarden is one of those bands that there’d be a hole in the music world without their records.”
Originally airing during the 4 day virtual music festival Octane’s Home Invasion here’s the Pretty Reckless’s version of the classic Soundgarden song “Loud Love.”
Look for the new Pretty Reckless album Death By Rock and Roll in early 2021. Shortly after they released the title track Taylor joined Cutter and Kaytie on their podcast Cutter’s Rockcast.
