The Green Bay meatpacking plant that was at the center of the first major coronavirus outbreak in the Fox Valley is facing a fine of over one-million dollars. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration accuses J-B-S of failing to provide proper protective equipment to employees as COVID-19 began to spread. 262-workers eventually tested positive–with contact tracing connecting them to hundreds of other cases. J-B-S says the citation is “without merit”.
