An Oshkosh native takes part in a groundbreaking treatment for COVID-19 patients.
Doctor Elizabeth Malsin took part in a double lung transplant at Northwestern University Medical Hospital that saved the life of a 28-year old woman. Malsin says the restrictions created by the pandemic made the procedure tough to clear.
The lung transplant patient is expected to make a full recovery.
