Korn have teamed up with World Of Tanks Blitz for a special Halloween collabortation. According to Wargaming Today, Korn teamed with the video game giant for the release of the official video for the song “Finally Free.” The track appears on Korn’s most recent release The Nothing, with the video setting the stage for a brand new Halloween mode called Burning Games.
The new mode features a ton of audience interaction offering players the ability to complete in-game challenges to uncover pieces of band artwork and extra special items from October 16 through October 24th.
Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said of the collaboration:
“I really like World of Tanks Blitz. It’s true to the era, there are a lot of great tanks in there, and you don’t just jump in and start shooting. I think there is a connection between rock and video games because video games are intense and rock ’n’ roll music is intense. It seems like they have always gone hand in hand.”
In other Korn news, Revolver Magazine recently released part 1 of a multipart documentary on Korn. The series is called ‘Evil/Innocent: The Story Of Korn‘ and can be seen below.
Korn we also announced today as one of the headliners of Rockfest 2021 in Cadott, Wisconsin July 15-17th.
