The son of the superintendent of the Markesan School District says his father didn’t have an underlying condition, but still died of COVID-19.
Duane Bark died on Wednesday. He was in the hospital since getting sick on July 23rd. Mourners set up a memorial outside the elementary school.
Duane Bark had been with the district for ten years, serving as both superintendent and athletic director. District official plan to talk about creating a more permanent memorial.
