Governor Evers is limiting capacities in buildings that are open to the public.
The Department of Health Services is issuing the order, and it takes effect on Thursday. It covers places like stores, bars, restaurants, and event venues.
The limits will be in place until November 6th. There are exceptions for schools, child care facilities, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
Evers says the state is in a crisis now, and everyone needs to immediately change their behavior to save lives.
