For the first time in six days, the state has fewer than 2,000 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.
There are 1,865 more cases, after a single-day record 2,892 yesterday.
The state is reporting 17.2 percent of tests were positive, and that’s the lowest since 16.6 percent on September 25th.
There are 24,264 active cases, and that’s 229 more. The state had 7,964 one month ago.
Hospitals are treating 58 new coronavirus patients, and 692 overall. Another 176 are waiting for test results.
Five more people died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths to 1,377.
Winnebago County has 164 more cases, Outagamie 105, Shawano 74, and Manitowoc 66.
Brown and Calumet both added 55.
Waupaca has 45 new cases, Fond du Lac 40, Oconto 21, Kewaunee 17, Waushara nine, and Green Lake five.
