There are 2,745 new confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin.
That’s the fourth day in a row with at least 2,200, and the eighth day in the past nine.
The state is reporting 20 percent of tests were positive.
There are 23,005 active cases, and that’s 879 more. It’s also three times as many as one month ago.
Hospitals are treating 97 new COVID-19 patients, and 669 overall. Another 162 are waiting for test results.
Five more people died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths to 1,353.
Brown County has 296 new cases, Winnebago 199, and Outagamie 152.
Fond du Lac added 68, Calumet 60, Oconto 59, Shawano 58, and Manitowoc 43.
Waupaca has 32 more, Kewaunee 25, Green Lake 12, and Waushara six.
