The spread of coronavirus is leading public health departments in the region to issue a public health emergency alert.
It includes recommendations that people not get together indoors with others from outside their household.
They’re also asking restaurants and bars to only offer take-out or delivery, and close indoor bars. They’re encouraging stores to use curbside pick-up and mail delivery, and limit the number of people inside.
Companies should only have essential workers in their office buildings, and use precautions.
The alert is from the health departments for Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties, along with Appleton and Menasha.
